These session plans use Happy: A Children’s Book of Mindfulness by Nicola Edwards, illustrated by Katie Hickey ( Little Tiger Press Group ) to introduce early years children to the concept of mindfulness. The session plans can be delivered through a mixture of online sessions and home learning ideas.

For example, the book could be read by a practitioner during a live or pre-recorded video and then the activities could be sent home for parents to try with their children. Where settings are open, these plans can be delivered in face-to face-sessions.
