Fathers Reading Every Day Programme

FRED – A great success

A huge thank you to all the parents who came along to the Fathers Reading Every Day Programme at the school on Wednesday 24th September 1.45-2.45pm.

The families who took part in the launch enjoyed a special guest appearance from Cartoonist and Storyteller TAYO Fatunla who demonstrated some story telling focusing on stories linked to ‘Black History Month.

The idea is that fathers/ father figures and indeed other members of the family, will be encouraged to read every day with their child for four weeks and to document this.

Next Meeting

On Monday 3rd November 1.45-2.45pm  participants will be invited to a celebration event to mark the closure of the four week programme and to share their experiences. Tayo will be joining us once more to mark the occasion.
