Dear Latin American Parents and Carers,

This page has been created on our Nursery websites to point you in the right direction for support designed and focused specifically on Latin American families in the UK. This page will be regularly updated with new links so please keep checking back for new information.

LAWRS (Hotline: 0808 145 4909):

Offer free and confidential specialist services for all Latin American women, including advice and counselling for women facing gender violence, and legal advice in welfare benefits, housing, debt, and employment rights, as well as integration activities and groups where you can meet other women in the community.

All of our services are delivered in Spanish and Portuguese and we offer free crèche support for women with children.

Latin American House (Hotline: 020 7372 8653):

Latin American House was established in 1983 and celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2018. We work for the integration, social inclusion and well-being of Latin American and other Spanish and Portuguese-speaking migrants in London, as well as communities in our local neighbourhood.

Our aims are to improve the life of Latin Americans, to provide a local Community Centre and to promote the rich diversity of Latin American cultures.

IRMO (Hotline: +44 7422 667327):

IRMO is a community-led organisation that provides Latin Americans with tools and information in an empowering process to build secure, independent, and integrated lives in the UK.

Our work spans three main ‘pillars’: Education, training and employment; Advice and case-work; and Children, young people and community. We also have a cross-cutting pillar, which is campaigning for the rights of all.
