Trip to Larissa – Day 2

This morning our session began with our Professor telling us that a small bird had flown into the room and could we find it for her. Our sessions have been very engaging and interactive introducing ways of working with SEND and non SEND children by having us take part in the activities ourselves. They have also been very focused on emotional literacy – both our own and the children’s. From this we went onto creating paintings with materials, first on the floor then by creating tableau then bringing the tableau to life using techniques established by Greek the Greek chorus millennium ago.  After a break we engaged in some work with scarve, pattern and rhythm.  After each session we introspectively examined the process.

In the afternoon we learnt about etwinning and engaging with our European partners.  However the day was not yet over and in the evening we were taken to the world renowned Lykion Ellinidon which is a Greek dance school.

Here we took part in Greek dances as well as watching the experts perform.
